SENGKANG – TORAJA - MAKASSAR 6 Days / 5 Nights

DAY 1 : ARRIVAL IN MAKASSAR / DEPART TO SENGKANG
Meeting services upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar. Then proceed to Sengkang, the center of traditional 'sutera' silk clothes factory in South Sulawesi. On the way, we visit Bantimurung waterfall which also famous for its colorful butterflies. Lunch en route. In the afternoon, arrive in Sengkang and directly to the Lake Tempe to have a boat trip to discover the way of life of Buginese fishermen with their floating houses. Dinner and overnight stay at simple accommodation in Sengkang
DAY 2 : DRIVE TO TANA TORAJA
After breakfast and check out, we will visit the traditional hand-made silk factory where women spin and weave silk clothes. Then drive to Tana Toraja via Palopo where we will find many spectacular views along the road from Palopo to Tana Toraja. Lunch en route. In the afternoon arrive in Tana Toraja. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 3 : FULL DAY TANA TORAJA TOUR
After breakfast, we drive to Batutumonga, where you will have a soft trekking, enjoy the beautiful panorama and experience a moment of the unique Torajan life style. Next, visit Tinombayo to enjoy the spectacular view of the megalith stones spread over the extensive rice fields. Then, continue our trip to explore burial cave of Lo’komata. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Rantepao. After lunch, we will visit the cliff burial site of Lemo with its galleries of ancestor statues (Tau-Tau). In the afternoon, we will visit Marante, traditional Torajan villages famous for their old Tongkonan houses and rice barns and hanging stones graves called 'erong' by the local people. Dinner at local restaurant and then back to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 4 : FULL DAY TANA TORAJA TOUR
After breakfast, we will visit Pallawa & Sa’dan, Torajan villages famous for their wood carving. Then, we visit the tomb of Londa where we can see the entombed deceased. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, onwards to Ke’te Kesu to explore the architecture of Tongkonan, Torajan ancestor house. Onwards to Kambira, to see a peculiar baby graves on the trees. Next to Suaya, the graveyard of Kings of Sangalla lies on the hillsides. Then back to Rantepao for dinner at local restaurant and overnight stay at hotel
DAY 5 : DRIVE BACK TO MAKASSAR
This morning, we drive back to Makassar with the different road (via Pare-Pare). On the way stop on the Bambapuang for a coffee break and enjoy the extraordinary view of Mount Buttukabobong. Lunch will be served at seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. Afternoon arrival in Makassar and we will take you to a local restaurant for having dinner. Then check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 6 : SHORT CITY TOUR / TRANSFER AIRPORT
After breakfast, we will take you on a short city tour in Makassar visit Sulawesi Mianiature Garden, and the Fort Rotterdam. After that, you will be transferred directly to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar for your flight to the next destination.
